Alongside its educational work the hospice also contributes to research in palliative care.
Members of our healthcare team have attended national and international conferences on palliative care. They have presented papers and prepared clinical studies on subjects such as recognising patients’ needs and problems and assessing how satisfied caregivers are with the care provided. Finally, members of our team have taken part in the European ΑΤΟΜΕ Programme, which aims to balance the accessibility of controlled drugs for medical use while avoiding illegal trafficking and misuse.
