Galilee’s Commitment to a Safe and Dignified Environment
The safety and dignity of all individuals who engage with Galilee is our guiding principle. Our policy is designed to create an environment that actively promotes and safeguards human dignity, ensuring everyone is free from violence and harassment.
Our commitments include:
- Legal Compliance: Adhering to all relevant legal protections and obligations.
- Zero Tolerance: Maintaining a strict zero-tolerance policy for all forms of violence and harassment.
- Support for Reporting: Encouraging and supporting the reporting of any incidents.
- Integrity: Upholding a stance against false statements or accusations.
By upholding these principles, we ensure that every member and associate of Galilee can work in a respectful, safe, and professional environment.
To achieve these objectives, Galilee has implemented a framework that includes the following key measures:
- A clearly defined policy has been established to prevent and address violence and harassment.
- A dedicated unit is responsible for systematically informing and raising awareness among all stakeholders, with resources available on its website and notice boards.
- Additionally, employees and volunteers receive ongoing training and empowerment.
- To ensure accountability, a secure and easily accessible channel has been created for submitting complaints.
- All reports are investigated impartially, with strict protection of confidentiality and the personal data of all parties.
- Appropriate consequences are enforced for confirmed violations, and retaliation against those who file complaints is strictly prohibited.
