Eleni Karafylli

Clinical Psychologist

Eleni Karafylli is a clinical psychologist who specializes in clinical and psychoanalytic psychopathology. She has completed her postgraduate studies in France (Université Rennes 2) and has worked in various medical contexts, including oncology, infectious diseases, and adult psychiatry. Her research and clinical interests include institutional psychotherapy and the subjective impact of serious physical illness. She is also interested in the politics and ethics of healthcare, as well as in psychotherapeutic practices in hospital settings. She actively follows the activities of psychoanalytic associations in France and Greece, and participates in working groups, supervision, and the reading of psychoanalytic texts. Eleni Karafylli is a member of the Hellenic Psychological Society. She has organized and coordinated study days that explore the function and place of psychological care and art in public care. She also engages in music and translation. Her writing works have been published in both print and online journals.
