She was born and raised in Thessaloniki, where she studied at the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She attended the 5th year of the medical school at the University Clinic in Saarbrücken and after receiving her degree she moved again to Germany, where she stayed for more than 10 years. She specialised in oncology/haematology at various hospitals in North Rhine/Westphalia as well as at university hospital in Düsseldorf and subsequently became a consultant at the St. Lukas Klinik in Solingen. She has also worked at university hospitals of the University of Münster and in Frankfurt Oder. She specialised in palliative medicine and received after succesful examination the highest state certification. She is also certified in upper/lower abdominal ultrasound. She has been participating as a speaker at conferences in Germany and Greece. Since April 2011 she has been working for “Galilee”.
