Occupational Therapist
Born in Athens, Georgia Savvati graduated successfully from “Athens Technological Educational Institute in Occupational Therapy”. She fulfilled her 4-month practice at “The Centre for Elders’ Open Care” of Zografou as well as at Sismanogleio Hospital, in the Psychiatric sector for 4 months. Additionally, in the department of “KAT” Hospital at Marousi she attended a practical session in the field of neurological and orthopaedics diseases for a semester. She holds a degree in Therapeutic Horse Riding, validated by the “Hippo Kinesio-Educational Rehabilitation International Institute” (Hi.K.E.R.). Through the passage of years her deep interest in therapy was also enriched in the field of Palliative Care and has attended relevant workshops and seminars at “Palliative Care Unit Galilee” as well as visited the “Hospice Casa Sperantei” in Romania, where she attended a particular educational programme concerning palliative care. For many years she has been practicing traditional massage for her further understanding and research. She works as an occupational therapist since 2008. She performs her services at “Galilee” since October 2023.
