A <strong><em>journey<\/em><\/strong> with the people we cared for\u2014who, in their way, we felt also cared for us\u2014with their families, with our partners, with the professionals of our nation\u2019s Health &amp; Welfare System, with colleagues from abroad, with donors, volunteers, and the local\u2014and beyond\u2014community.<\/p>\n<p>A rich <strong><em>journey<\/em><\/strong> with great dedication to a work carried out with devotion by a family of people who each contribute\u2014some their knowledge, others their time, others their resources, others their trust by offering a kind word\u2014and all together a sincere and clear spirit of giving.<\/p>\n<p>At times, the <strong><em>journey<\/em><\/strong> had difficulties and unexpected turns, but commitment to quality, respect, scientific rigor, teamwork, and transparency led to the continual progress of the work.<\/p>\n<p>Our vision remains that every patient in our country who is in need can receive quality Palliative Care services, regardless of nationality, religion, or economic and social status.
