For twenty-seven years she worked at the \u201cSaint Savvas\u201d Hospital (Seven years in a respiratory intensive care unit and the remainder in the department that provided cover for all the various wards of the hospital). She retired in September 2008. She attended further training seminars on Palliative Care at Hospice Casa Sperantei in Romania.
